Liberal Democrats adopt Margaret Rowley as their Parliamentary Candidate

Campaigning in Droitwich Spa

Cllr Margaret Rowley was formally adopted as Parliamentary Candidate for Mid-Worcestershire on Saturday 10th April, and immediately went on the campaign trail.

Margaret told supporters " Labour and Conservative Governments have run Britain for decades. look at the mess they have made of our country. We need change that will build a fairer Britain. I want Mid-Worcestershire to have a fairer deal, and if elected as your MP, that is what I'll fight for."

Following the meeting, Margaret and her team distributed leaflets and balloons in Droitwich Spa town centre.

Margaret said "People have been impressed by our proposals so far, and were keen to learn more. We will introduce fair taxes, and a fair deal for all in the economy. We will bring in a new system to clean up politics - fair votes, the right to sack corrupt MPs and give people more say over what happens in their area - and make sure that all children have a fair start in life."
